Paris Housing Authority’s mission is to provide safe, sanitary, affordable housing for low-income individuals and families. We are in full compliance with all regulations, federal, state, and local non-discrimination laws governing Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity. We operate under a Board of Commissioners, with five members, that architect the policies governing the operations of the Housing Authority.

The Paris Housing Authority opened their waiting list on March 19, 2026; these units are all Public Housing Units PHA does not have any Section 8 housing.

We have three developments in the Paris city limits. Vernon Place, Washington Courts and Morningside Village. We have zero-, one-, two-, three-and four-bedroom apartments. You can apply online below.
PUBLIC NOTICE FOR BOARD MEETINGS
Paris Housing Authority conducts monthly board meetings on the first Tuesday of each month at 5:00 pm. The meetings are held at PHA office located 917 Minor Street, Paris TN 38242. The meetings are open to the public. If you want to speak to the commissioners we ask that you call the office and request to be put on the agenda a week prior to the meeting.
